Tattoo
Removal -
Tattoos can be wholly or partially removed by various
cosmetic surgical techniques, the most common is through the use of lasers. The
procedure can be expensive, and may not be entirely effective in leaving unblemished
skin.
Lasers work by producing short pulses of intense light that pass harmlessly through
the top layers of the skin to be selectively absorbed by the tattoo pigment. This
laser energy causes the tattoo pigment to fragment into smaller particles that
are then removed by the body's immune system. The laser will target the pigment
of the tattoo without damaging the surrounding skin.
Be sure and do
your research before you get the permanent tattoo and be cautious about the one
you get. Don't get one that might need to be removed should some circumstances
change.
